World Cup is fixed claims WhatsApp message

World Cup is fixed claims WhatsApp message |TheNewsTribe.com
NEW DELHI: Against what International Cricket Council has taken strict measures for match fixing a message on WhatsApp that has gone viral claims that the ongoing ICC World Cup 2015 is fixed, the Times of India reported.
The whatsApp message is a big blow to cricket enthusiasts and the shocking fact about this message is that all the results of the World Cup 2015 matches so far have come true and have matched what the message states.
World-Cup-is-fixed-2
According to results in the purported schedule, Pakistan will win against West Indies on Saturday and Zimbabwe. It will, however, lose to minnows UAE before falling to South Africa. Oddly, it does not suggest a fixed winner between Ireland and Pakistan.
k

According to the message, India will not be able defend their World Cup title and will also go on to lose against South Africa and Zimbabwe.
According to the message, India will beat New Zealand in the first quarterfinal, but will go down to Australia in the semifinal.
The message states that the second quarterfinal will be between Australia and Zimbabwe, in which Australia will be the winners, South Africa will beat England in the third quarterfinal and Sri Lanka will register their first World Cup victory against Pakistan by beating the 1992 champions in the fourth quarterfinal.
The message shows that South Africa will defeat hosts Australia in the final for their maiden World Cup title victory.
But Asian giants India and Sri Lanka won’t progress beyond the semifinals as they will be beaten by arguably the two best teams in the competition – Australia and South Africa respectively, the message claims.
The message shows that South Africa will defeat hosts Australia in the final on March 29 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for their maiden World Cup title victory.
If this message is true indeed, then all the work done by the International Cricket Council against the fixers will clearly come to naught.,

ISLAMABAD: The cellular mobile operators (CMOs) have processed more than half of 103 million Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) cards using the biometric verification system (BVS) by February 15, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) revealed.

Since the launch of the BVS campaign, 47.4 million SIMs have been verified against 35.6 million CNICs, said the telecom regulator in a press release. Another 5.6 million SIMs were blocked during the period under review, it said.
The telecom industry initially expressed its reservations about the tight deadline, saying they have about 60,000 devices to verify 103 million people in 90 days, which translates to almost one million SIMs a day or 664 SIMs per minute. The deadline for consumers with two or more SIMs was February 26 and for those with less SIMs was April 13.

The fresh numbers, however, reflect the industry has been pushing hard and is well ahead of the target for it processed more than half the number in a month’s time.
“At the moment, they are certainly ahead of the target and may even complete the whole process before the deadline,” Information and Communications Technology expert Parvez Iftikhar told media. However, he added it is always the last 20% to 30% of the users that are difficult to verify in such an exercise.
“I think the process will slow down in the second phase and a lot of SIMs will be blocked during that time,” said Iftikhar, referring to a bulk of SIMs bought by elements involved in grey telephony

90 Ukrainian troops captured in Debaltseve: Kiev military

90 Ukrainian troops captured in Debaltseve: Kiev military?

Over 90 Ukrainian soldiers have been captured near the city of Debaltseve in eastern Ukraine, while the location of 82 others is unknown after pro-Russia forces took control of the strategic town, the country’s military says.?
“Engaging in uneven confrontation with the enemy forces at one of the frontline sections of the Debaltseve foothold, over 90 servicemen of the Ukrainian armed forces were captured. The General Staff is also searching for 82 soldiers whose whereabouts is unknown at the moment,” read the statement issued by the Ukrainian Defense Ministry on Thursday.
Reports also said that 13 Ukrainian soldiers were killed and 157 injured during clashes with pro-Russia forces in Debaltseve as the Ukrainian forces were leaving the violence-wracked area.
The new clashes came despite a ceasefire deal recently inked between the warring sides in eastern Ukraine. Kiev and pro-Russia forces accuse each other of violating the truce.
East Ukraine ceasefire deal?
During peace talks in the Belarusian capital city of Minsk on February 11-12, the leaders of Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine agreed on the withdrawal of heavy weapons from Ukraine’s front lines and a ceasefire, which officially went into effect at 2200 GMT on February 14.
Back in September 2014, the representatives of Ukraine, Russia, and the self-proclaimed republics of Donetsk and Lugansk had also signed another ceasefire deal in Minsk. However, the truce was violated on an almost daily basis by both the Ukrainian military and the pro-Russia forces, and thus failed to deliver any practical result.
Source of conflict
Donetsk and Lugansk are two mainly Russian-speaking regions in eastern Ukraine, which have been hit by deadly clashes between pro-Russia forces and the Ukrainian army since Kiev launched military operations in April last year to crush pro-Russia protests there.
In May 2014, the situation in the two flashpoint regions started to worsen as residents overwhelmingly voted for independence from Ukraine in referendums.
